Product Mapping
Link existing WooCommerce and Odoo products, scan duplicate SKUs, and control conflict resolution.
Product mapping prevents Synco from creating a second record when the same product already exists in both systems.
Automatic matching
The Product Sync setting can match by SKU or barcode. When a match succeeds, the job records the Odoo ID in WooCommerce product meta_data, creating a durable link for later updates.
Link a product manually
- Open the WooCommerce product list in Synco.
- Find the product and open its mapping/link action.
- Search Odoo products and choose the intended record.
- Save the link.
When an Odoo product is already linked to a different WooCommerce product, Synco attempts to clear the earlier link before saving the new one. Confirm the conflict is intentional before replacing it.
Clear a link
Choose the empty/unlinked value in the product mapping action. Synco clears the stored Odoo reference from the WooCommerce product; it does not delete either product.
Duplicate SKU scan
Use the duplicate scan to identify a SKU shared by multiple WooCommerce products. Duplicate SKUs make search-based matching ambiguous and should be resolved before automatic creation is enabled.
The scan ignores products without a SKU and returns each duplicated SKU with the matching product IDs and names.
Mapping checklist
- Confirm SKU/barcode formatting is identical in both systems.
- Resolve duplicates before bulk sync.
- Use Update only for the first validation run if you do not want unmatched products created.
- Review one variable product to confirm attribute values and variant SKUs match.
- Inspect the resulting job log for the chosen target ID.
